Puglia
Puglia or Apulia is a lovely region in Southern Italy, We travel over all the Salento area, which offers the best beaches and natural gems!
The Roadtrip:
We arrived at Bari airport (which was the starting point) in the afternoon and rented the car so we could go towards Salento.
We arrived to San Donato di Lecce really late and checked in into the amazing house we had there, if you're curious enough and you're not afraid of outstanding hospitalities then it's the place for you!
From this central position we got the opportunity to roam the area pretty well in the 4 days we stayed there!
We firstly went to the Gallipoli area:
The city is wonderful and has tons of beaches all around the place where you can spend a lovely time during the day!
You can find some in the map below.
The third day was dedicated to the southern part of Salento, here on the right some places we visited!
We spent the last day in the Otranto area, which I really recommend you to visit, and then we drive back up to the beautiful Alberobello!
The places that Apulia has to offer are just so wonderful, one of the best regions we have!
Talking about underrated regions;
The Sea
The strength point that Salento has is the Sea and the beaches, all around the province you can explore and find tons of beautiful beaches and natural caves, you can find some in the map over this text!
Plus: Stay hydrated
Throughout the whole trip we all had our travel companion with us, by Avana!
The bottles by this company are the best ones I've ever had the pleasure to try, they're not simple aluminium bottles thanks to their technology and design!
Here's the link where you can have a look to all the awesome products and ethics of the company!
My personal favorite it's the Deep Ocean Beckridge, the color is just so good and lucid, go get your one!
